Dog friendly! South Bend Serenity

Welcome to the Golden Getaway! Our 5-star bright & cheery bungalow is located in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the Riverside trail & newly renovated Pinhook Park. We're less than 15 minutes by car from downtown SB, Notre Dame, & Mishawaka. We've created the Getaway to be comfortable and functional - a place where you can eat, play, work, and rest. Whether you're in town for fun or business, we want you to fully enjoy your time in the South Bend area. The space The cozy living room is equipped with a Roku TV, so you can access your own streaming accounts. The couch, ottoman, and foot stool allow for a variety of seating/lounging options. Need to get some work done? There's a standing desk with monitor & keyboard in the bedroom, and (of course) free fast WIFI. We love to cook, eat, & drink. You'll find our kitchen stylish, thoughtful, and organized, with a variety of pots/pans, utensils, and prep tools. Start your day with a cup of coffee or tea (starter supplies provided). Enjoy your meals at the high-top table, or (weather permitting) at the patio set on the deck. The bathroom is stocked with lots of comforts of home: quick dry towels, makeup cloths, a micro-fiber hair towel, & some toiletries you may have left behind. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds for a great night's sleep. The master bedroom features a Queen sized supportive pillow top mattress on an adjustable frame, and the smaller bedroom features two twin plush mattresses. We know that life gets messy! You have access to a washer & dryer during your stay. We've even provided a few laundry pods & dryer sheets. Guest access You will have the entire home to yourself. Enjoy free parking in the driveway on the left side of the house. Other things to note The garage and shed are not accessible to guests. In addition, there is one locked closet in the small bedroom, and two locked cabinets in the laundry/utility room for the owners. Parties are NOT allowed on the property. A separate fee (minimum $150) will be assessed for violating this policy. Smoking is NOT allowed in the house. A separate fee (minimum $150) will be assessed for dealing with extra cleaning related to guests violating this policy. Dogs are allowed on a case by case basis with an added cleaning fee ($50/dog). If you would like to bring your furry friend, please inquire with details about your pet. Sorry, no cats. The cleaning fee is $125. 100% of that goes directly to my cleaner! In the rare event of the keyless entry not working, we keep a set of backup keys on property. If this happens, I will provide you with the code to a lockbox so that you can use the spare keys! If you lose the spare keys, there is a $300 lockout fee.
