Welcome to Owl Creek Hideaway - a hidden gem with breathtaking views of Belton Lake! Just a quick drive to lake access at multiple different parks where you can bring your own boat, go fishing, or use our water equipment to explore the lake. Our property provides a large deck and amenities for all your friends and family to enjoy time together. We would be so happy to have you at our home away from home! ----- Note: The 4th bedroom is not included and requires an additional cost. The space Owl Creek Hideaway sits on the cliff with a little over half an acre overlooking Belton Lake. It is updated and completely furnished with all that you will need for your stay. Please be aware that due to our location, Wi-Fi is extremely limited- we encourage you to enjoy the outdoors! During the day, you can enjoy the views or access Belton Lake through various parks open throughout the season. We recommend you check for park closures. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking appliances and spices (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid). The living space is perfect for relaxation or playing board games provided. Our garage space has extra space for outdoor fun for your entertainment. In the evening, grab a blanket, bring some firewood and cozy up outside on the patio by the fire. Whatever you choose to do, we want you will feel right at home! ********** NOTE: This home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with an air mattress. For parties with 10, the guest house with a 4th bedroom and full bathroom is available for an additional fee of $125/night + one time $65 clean fee. This space isn't available to anyone other than guests who rent the main home. Please message us prior to booking if you and your guests are interested in securing this space. Guest access With two driveways and a carport, plus an area for RV parking (no hookup), we have plenty of space for your vehicles, boats, or trailer. Other things to note Owl Creek Hideaway is tucked away on the north side of Belton Lake. Due to our slightly remote location, the signal can be weak and limited (please do not rely on it for work calls or streaming). As the property is on a cliff and not fully fenced in, please take caution especially with pets and younger children. We do not have lake access and highly discourage exploring beyond the cliff as the terrain is unpredictable and unsafe. In addition, wildlife, snakes and insects (spiders, wasps, bees, flies, mosquitos, gnats) are very common in the area since we are near water and trees- especially during the summertime. We do have our home treated consistently through the year to help reduce the incidence of bugs, but are unable to control the natural elements surrounding the home. We ask that guests be vigilant by keeping doors closed, food covered and trash picked up as we will not be responsible for any injuries during your stay. We do provide life jackets along with a SUP board, a kayak, and some inflatables. Do ensure that equipment is strapped down properly when transporting - you will be response for any damage. Use these at your own risk and only when weather conditions permit. Our first and foremost priority is your safety. Please do not disregard these items when booking our space.
