No additional visitors. 🤫 Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 6 AM Out of respect for guests with early ferries or flights. 🏊 Pool & Backyard Hours: 7 AM – 7 PM 🚭 No Pets / No Smoking 🐓 Island Wildlife Vieques is a small Caribbean island where roosters, horses, and other wildlife are part of everyday life. Earplugs are provided for light sleepers, and we’re happy to provide more if needed. 🐎 Wild Horses on Property Wild horses roam freely throughout Vieques. Please do not pet or feed them. Simply enjoy their presence and they will typically ignore you. 🧳 Early Check-In (12 PM) Available when possible for an additional service fee. Please request in advance. 🧳 Luggage Storage Solution If you need luggage storage, we recommend Vieques Sol on El Malecón, which offers luggage holding for a small fee and opens as early as 9:30 AM. 🍍 Tropical Fruit Garden COCO LOCO sits on over an acre of lush tropical land with fruit trees including: 🥭 Mango 🍌 Banana 🌰 Cashew 🍈 Guava 🟢 Quenepa (Spanish lime) When fruit is in season, we’re happy to let guests know what’s ready to enjoy. ✨ Relax, explore, and enjoy the island. Let us know if we can help make your stay even better. ✨ Guest access The property features two front gates for convenient 24-hour access. The 2BR apartment has an entryway up the stairs to the 2nd floor from the front of the home leading directly to your front door. Entry is keyless, and a backup key is available inside the unit. Guests may not drop off luggage, as we’re unable to hold or store bags before check-in or after check-out. Checkout is by 11:00 AM, and remaining on the property after 11:00 AM may result in additional fees, as it can require extra staffing and delay preparation for incoming guests. Other things to note In 2023, I visited Coco Loco as a guest and it just so happened to be for sale! So I sold everything in Florida, left the corporate world behind, and took a leap of faith to live a simple island life. No regrets! Coco Loco has 5 unique apartments, including the owner’s unit (mine), so I’m always nearby if anything is needed. Great peace of mind on a small island. Quick reminder: Vieques is a small island, and things like repairs or parts can take a long time to get here. What might be same day elsewhere can take weeks (sometimes longer) here. We keep a few simple island house rules to help protect things like A/C and plumbing.
