Quaint end of terrace cottage built in the 1800s. Light airy rooms, catching the sun morning and evening. Recently renovated in 2021 - 2022, with simple and rustic style, in keeping with the house and surrounding area. Garden space with comfortable chairs great for lounging in the afternoon sun. Great location with a one minute walk across the road to Chesil Beach and the popular cove house inn pub. The space A lovely end of terrace cottage with 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom, galley style kitchen, living room & dining room. The kitchen is very well equipped, extra oven trays are located in the bottom oven draw. The hob is induction and the black mat on the hob is perfectly fine to cook on top of. It’s kept on to protect the glass. The house was built in the late 1800s and as an older property it comes with some quirks, the bathroom was added onto the side of the house at some stage and so it is located through the dining room. The beautiful fire place is currently out of use, but I leave candles in here for you to use if you wish too. Guest access All areas of the house and garden are open for guest use, other than the attic room which is kept locked as a storage room. There’s a storage box down the side of the house (in the front garden) that contains garden cushions for the furniture to use in the warmer weather. Please note; both entrances to the house have a set of steps, so please consider this if you or anyone you’re travelling with has restricted mobility. Other things to note The house has wooden floors throughout so I would recommend bringing slippers during the winters months. I would kindly like the ask guests to please not tamper with the boiler & it’s settings, in the past this has been an issue with guests trying to change the settings and has cost us call out charges when its been set incorrectly or turned off. There is a thermostat in the hallway that is set and if needs be you can turn the temperature up here, but please leave it set at 19 degrees when you leave, thank you.
