The Château de La Baronnière is a haven of peace surrounded by nature, it is also a place of history and celebrations. The space You will live in this 19th century chateau, in the Troubadour Gothic style, erected by the owner's ancestors. It consists of 16 bedrooms, 26 beds including 8 doubles and 4 dormitories, 3 private bathrooms and/or showers and 4 others to be shared. Sheets and towels provided, beds made. You will also have at your disposal the swimming pool (ping-pong) and the 19th century park of 30 hectares. IN ADDITION & ON REQUEST: - Access to the vegetable garden, the chapel and the courtyard of outbuildings, stables. - Cleaning 20 euros/h - Meals prepared for you - 2 independent accommodations in the property (2 + 3 bedrooms) NOTE: The owners can occupy their accommodation during your stay: a few hundred meters from the castle. They are discreet and stay at a distance. Guest access You will live in complete autonomy, taking advantage of the lounges, dining rooms, French billiards, piano (restored but tired) etc. You will have at your disposal the swimming pool (table tennis) and the 19th century park of 30 hectares. For meals outside: barbecue and tables/chairs available. Other things to note The castle of La Baronnière is a high place of history: former property of General Bonchamps, hero of the Vendée wars during the French Revolution. Its castle was burnt down during the Revolution, but there are still buildings from the 17th century. The current castle - built in the 19th century by the owner's grandparents - is listed as a Historic Monument. More information on our web-site.
