The Lake House is the largest space available at the Anchor Inn with every bedroom having a view of the water. Two queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with two twins. Fully renovated in 2023, we designed the space for entertaining in every season. The beach is just across the street and outdoor dining & BBQ are on the back deck. All of our amenities are included for free (except our new ebike rentals), such as our wood fired sauna, kayaks, firewood, charcoal, private beach, and playground. The space If you have clicked through any of the photos of our spaces at the Anchor Inn, you know that we use antique pieces throughout to match the vintage lake cottage setting of the Inn. Although the interior of the Lake House has been fully updated, we brought in as many character items that we could to give a feeling of lived-in space. Most of our design inspiration comes from traditional British and Scandinavian waterside cottages that we experienced during our years aboard. These always struck a balance between formality and playfulness where beach toys were piled atop family heirlooms. Being in the space made us feel like children, making mischief at our grandparents summer home. This large private space gives you the feeling of home with the amenities and location that only a large resort can provide.
