Totally renovated 100 year old charming but modern cottage steps from the Three Village Inn, Country House Restaurant, Stony Brook Village, Jazz Club, Sand St. Beach, Avalon Park, Carriage museum and the Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. You will have the private upper floor of the cottage with a private entrance. There is a spacious porch and front yard with lounge chairs where you can watch the deer, chipmunks, birds, & rabbits. Short ride to Stony Brook University. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Each bedroom has a desk/vanity and makeup mirror as well as a full size mirror. There is a common area which has a couch, a table for 4, a refrigerator and a freezer, sink, microwave and a Keurig Coffee maker (and coffee cups!). There is one bathroom with a shower. There is a screened in porch with a table and chairs, and casual seating. (Please note that the very sweet and quiet down stairs tenant must walk through the porch to enter her space.) There are lounge chairs out front so you can sunbathe and watch the many birds, deer, chipmunks, rabbits and the occasional turkey that wander by. There are beach chairs in the porch you may take to the beach, and there are beach towels provided. There is a clothes steamer and hair dryer provided for each room. There is body soap, shampoo and conditioner located in the shower. Guests have access to the 2nd floor suite, screened in porch, front yard, and 2 parking spaces directly in front. We are available at all times throughout your stay. We can be contacted through airbnb or through text/phone which will be provided after booking. Short walking distance to Stony Brook Harbor and Beach. Short walk to fishing, paddle boarding & kayaking. 5 minute slow walk to beautiful Stony Brook Village with many shops and restaurants. 2/10 mile to the Three Village Inn. Great area for hiking. Hike Avalon Park. Also walking distance to the Jazz Loft, The Carriage Museum, and the LI Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. Stony Brook University, Stony Brook Hospital, and the Stony Brook Railroad Station are a short 5 minute ride away. Also a short ride away is Harmony Vineyards. Danfords in Port Jefferson is 5 miles away. There is a flight of steps to access the suite.
