The view from this home is a stunner. Incredibly scenic location; this charming vintage 1915 cape sits high on the bank of the Saco river right next to the Saco covered bridge in Conway, New Hampshire. One never tires of the sound and movement of the river. The bank of the Saco River is just a few feet from one of the two enclosed porches where you will also enjoy picturesque views of the covered bridge. Sleeping The three bedrooms are upstairs, two with queen beds and one with two twin beds. There is an enclosed three season porch with a queen pullout couch, which is perfect for those who want to be the closest to the river and don't mind light in the morning as three of the walls are sliders with vertical blinds only on the side walls. There are other areas where guests can sleep on blowup mattresses, etc. Bathrooms There are two full bathrooms. One upstairs and one on the main level. The one upstairs has a stand up shower and the one on the main level has has a shower & tub. Living Room The main living room has a 55 inch flatscreen Smart TV and a pellet stove that can put out a lot of heat. It has two large couches with two recliners built into each of them. There is another reclining chair as well as a high top with a few high chairs. Main Porch The main porch is attached to the living room and steps from the riverbank, but has a door so it can be closed off. It is a few steps down. There is no heat in this porch so it can be cooler in the winter, but it warms up nicely if you keep the door open. It has a queen sleeper sofa, two swivel chairs and a reclining chair. Exterior Enclosed Porch There is another enclosed porch with a separate entrance. It has a table and a foosball table. This is great in the summer but usually too cold in the winter. Exterior Open Porch The exterior open porch is ideal in the warmer months. There are four rocking chairs overlooking the covered bridge. Bunk House For an extra cost of $35 a night, you can rent the bunk house April through October which is steps from the main house. It has a bunk bed and a few chairs. Great for some of your guests who need their own space. It has electricity and AC but no water. During the warmer months, renters can use four kayaks, paddles, life jackets and river tubes. We cannot guarantee the sizes of life jackets will work for your group, so we encourage you to bring your own. Renters must bring their own racks, tie downs, etc. to transport kayaks and tubes. Renters accept all responsibiliy and liability if they use the kayaks and tubes. You have access to the entire house and the small shed next to the side door. The basement and shed by the wood firepit are off limits as they are currently used for storage. Getting access to the house is easy. You will be proivided a four digit code that will give you access to the front door. We are located high on the bank of the Saco River next to a covered bridge.
