La Maison du Meunier welcomes you to Moulin de Lapeyre, in Saint-Estèphe, in the heart of the forests of the Périgord Vert. Its private 3-hectare lake, a few meters away, will invite you to reconnect with nature: in search of tranquility by the water, lovers of hiking, canoeing, or no-kill fishing, this idyllic setting offers a multitude of possibilities to recharge your batteries. Its large terrace, with a magnificent view, is the ideal place to enjoy the calm and nature. The space Nestled just 25 meters from our private lake of 3 hectares, the Maison du Meunier can accommodate up to 7 people, offering a perfect space for families, groups of friends or couples looking for a romantic stay. 2 pets are also welcome. Between modernity and old-fashioned charm, this beautiful 120 m² building is spread over 2 floors and has: On the ground floor: • a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, • a large living room/lounge with TV, • a large fenced terrace, furnished with plancha, sunbeds, awning, umbrella and dining area, offering a magnificent view in the shade of the cherry tree over the huge wooded park of the Moulin, Upstairs: • 3 double bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed), with the possibility of adding a single bed of 70 cm on request, • 3 bathrooms with 3 toilets. Wi-Fi and 3 parking spaces are available just in front of the house. We also provide bed linen (on arrival, the beds are made), towels and house linen, cleaning products (soap, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, sponges, laundry...). ACTIVITIES AROUND THE LAKE: • On foot or by bicycle, enjoy the hiking trails around the lake, accessible to all: an ideal nature immersion to observe birds, ducks and game, in the heart of typical Dordogne vegetation. • To fully enjoy our lake, a canoe awaits you at the pontoon from April to October: glide peacefully on the water, explore its most beautiful corners and experience a real moment of escape, in absolute calm. • You can also enjoy our lake for fishing all year round in no-kill, in accordance with our regulations. Our 2 newly built pontoons on the lake are designed to offer fishermen privileged access. • 800 meters from the cottage, the magnificent site of the Grand Étang de Saint-Estèphe, the largest body of water in the Dordogne, offers sports facilities and a playground for children, accessible for free. Guests can also swim in the summer season. • Horseback riding: 5 minutes away, Les Ecuries du Clos Neuf will welcome you by appointment for an unforgettable equestrian moment!
