The space The hut is located in the village of Bosaca, which is located below Durmitor. The beautiful Durmitor village of Bosaca is located at 1600 meters above sea level, and is considered the highest permanently inhabited place in the Balkans. It is 4 km away from Zabljak and in its immediate vicinity there are lakes Jablan, Barno and Zminje, which makes it an ideal starting point for hiking tours. Guest access The cottage is located in the village of Bosaca, which is located at the foot of Durmitor. Next to the cottage there is a natural spring of cold water and a small cold stream. The cottage is located at the intersection of paths leading to several nearby lakes. Jablan Lake (45 min walk), and one of the peaks of Durmitor named Crvena Greda. There is also a path that leads to Crno Jezero (Black Lake), which is the largest glacial lake on Durmitor. Barno Lake (swamp) is located on the way to Crno Jezero. There is also a path that leads to Zminje Lake. All these lakes are within 10 to 40 minutes of walking. The town of Zabljak is 4 km away if you are looking for a more relaxed experience to break the silence. Other things to note It is possible to order an authentic traditional breakfast and dinner from the host. Homemade bread, prosciutto and cheese, cheese pie, traditional meal kacamak.
