A cosy but contemporary family home in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, perfectly located central to all the conveniences this lovely little village has to offer. THE GARDEN Unwind in the private hot tub with a view, the best spot for star gazing (available May to August). A large garden, with eating and seating options and play areas. Private patio with large outdoor sofa and coffee table. The south-facing patio is a suntrap and the ideal spot to relax and watch the evening sunset. A small fire pit is stored under the coffee table, specifically for toasting marshmallows on a balmy summer evening. Rocking chairs beside the ornamental fire pit, a charcoal BBQ and outdoor dining area under the pergola. Also with a home gym and space for storing bikes or kayaks / canoes. FAMILY FRIENDLY Childrens indoor and outdoor dining tables. Two toddler chairs, one can convert to high chair with tray if needed. Two cots Plenty of indoor toys and a huge selection of childrens books Outdoor toys including mud kitchen, trampoline, nest swing, slide and seesaw. Guest access You will have sole use of the house and private garden during your stay. Parking for three cars on the driveway at the rear of the house. Other things to note The Walnut Tree village shop and café. The shop serves groceries, toiletries, ready meals, alcohol and our local post office. The cafe serves fabulous breakfasts and does fish and chip FRYday, Saturday is Burger Night. The Red Lion is a two-minute walk away, a great value lively local pub with childrens play park. The Coach and Horses, less than 10 minutes walk along the picturesque countryside lane, is a fabulous fish restaurant with its own delicatessen. Best to book as they are all very popular. Towels and bedding provided. Guests can help themselves to tea, coffee and any of the basic kitchen condiments when cooking. Family run, serviced petrol station in the village.
