Here you can enjoy unforgettable moments for two or with the family, in a natural and welcoming environment. Come and connect with nature in our Morada! The space In this listing, we have configured our Mother House to accommodate up to 2 adults + 2 children. No area of the house will be shared with other guests, only two other bedrooms and a living room will be unavailable.(To use the entire house, check out our other listing). We comfortably accommodate 2 guests in our Pecan suite. If necessary, there are 2 sofa beds (D33) in the living room that can comfortably accommodate 2 more children (at an additional cost). IMPORTANT: In the living room there is only a toilet. The only indoor shower in this accommodation is in the suite. IMPORTANT: at the time of booking, enter the correct number of guests who will check in (and pets, if any). Private area of the Pecan Suite: 1000 sq. meters with private pool. Shared Area: 200,000 m2 The residence has a total area of 209,000 m2 of trails, preserved forest, springs, streams, waterfalls, agroforestry and lagoons. The house, built in the 1950s and which has housed our family for the past ten years, has come to be called the Mother House and has been lovingly prepared to welcome our guests. Casa Mãe has a fenced area with a swimming pool (heated from October to April), a fire pit, a sandpit, a vegetable garden, and a private backyard for guests. Some toys and recreational activities will also be available, such as: stilts, slackline, balls, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, boat on the lake, tree swing. Guest access Guests will have an exclusive, fenced area, containing approx. 1000 m2 around the main house. As a shared area (with the family in their routine), a workshop with basic tools for bicycle repairs will be available, as well as hand tools for small garden work and the like. The entire property will be available to be explored, including the current family home (Casa da Floresta), which has several construction and energy use techniques based on Permaculture (guided and scheduled visit at no additional cost). In the surroundings, our neighbors are receptive to those who wish to accompany the milking of the cows, a tobatta ride, or the purchase of colonial products (cream, cakes, biscuits, milk, cheeses, Kochkäse, etc.). Everything is arranged directly with them. Other things to note *We strongly suggest a stay of at least two nights to better enjoy the spaces **If it is not possible to book two nights, consult our "EXTENDED CHECK-OUT" - (in AUGUST and SEPTEMBER the extended check-out is FREE until 4 p.m.), which allows guests to enjoy the entire day on the property before leaving. There is a small additional cost. About us: We are a family of 4 people (Laura 8, João Pedro 14, Glauce 45 and João Ricardo 49), 4 dogs, 1 rabbit and some chickens. We also have native bees and fish. Our activities here on this land involve agriculture (agroforestry and agroecological systems), fish farming, ecological sanitation, rainwater harvesting, spring protection, on-grid and off-grid solar energy, bio-construction (low-impact, high-efficiency buildings), education and nutrition. Permaculture and nature are strong inspirations and our guides. Guests can simply rest and enjoy what the place offers or experience some of the daily activities that will be offered upon request (request the calendar and values of the activities by message). Among the activities are: - Activities related to agriculture and agroecological and agroforestry management; - Learn about and experience bioconstruction techniques (ecological constructions); - Learn about ecological solutions for water and sewage collection and treatment; - Implementation of an organic garden and composting; - Immersion and introductory course in permaculture for those seeking greater autonomy and moving towards a way of living that generates less impact; - Share knowledge for those who want to acquire a rural property or already have one (practically a consultancy for deciding which property to buy and how to plan your space); - Making and preparing seedlings; - Basics in the handling of small animals (native bee, chickens, worm farm, fish); - Cooking workshop, with the experience from the harvest to the table; - Handling chainsaws, brush cutters and other tools...
