Description

Modern 2 bed mobile home in the heart of Fife on a very quiet site. Fully furnished and equipped to give a real home from home experience. Generous sized master bedroom with new Emma mattress, wardrobe & ensuite bath/shower/loo. Twin room, separate family shower room & loo. Open plan living/dining area with double sofa bed which can be requested. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen & towels provided. Laundry onsite Enclosed decking & parking for 1 car. No smoking/vaping/pets inside. The space Modern holiday home with everything need to feel at home whilst you explore Fife; whether it's walking the hills or the coastal path, or trying some of the many golf courses. Annsmuir is a quiet site just off the golf course, mainly with retired residents, ideal for those who want some peace and quiet or a base for touring Fife. *Note that this is not a holiday park with a club house, kids entertainment etc* Just 2 miles from Ladybank train station and with Asda deliveries available, it's a great central location in peaceful surroundings... you don't have to go anywhere, just enjoy walking in the woods! Lovely comfy double master bedroom spans the width of caravan with new Emma mattress, ample wardrobe space and vanity area plus ensuite bathroom with bath. Twin room with small wardrobe and good-sized family shower room. If you want the beds pushed together, we can put a topper on to make a double, but please note it is a small space. Pricing is set for upto 4 guests; King bed plus 2 singles There may be additional cost for extra laundry. The sofa opens up small double bed. There's a small additional charge for the extra laundry if this is required, so if 4 adults are visiting but wanting to spread out, please let me know. Additional radiators provided during cold weather and thicker tog (15) duvet, plus fluffy blankets for snuggling on the sofa. Travel cot and high chair can be available on request, also handles and shower stool in the bathroom, just ask. We are users of Airbnb regularly ourselves and know what we like when we're away , so please let us know if you have any suggestions. Although it's just 2 miles from the Ladybank train station and there's a bus stop on the main road for buses going to Glenrothes (onwards to Edinburgh or Glasgow) or Cupar/ Dundee, it seems to be difficult to get taxis to come out to the park, so your own transport would be easier. However, if you're without transport and planning on staying local and chilling and we can help we will. Please note that my parents also use this caravan so as well as tea/coffee (& decaf)/sugar/condiments provided in the cupboard, there may also be tins and dried food such as pasta/ rice also which you would be very welcome to use. I'm writing this just so you don't need to buy if only staying a couple of nights and also so that you are aware that the cleaner hasn't left things behind!! There is no broadband on site as of yet, so there is a mobile hot-spot in the caravan. This runs on Vodafone and is OK, but the area isn't great for any mobile signal in general, so if you're planning on working, you may have issues. There's a Chromecast in the TV if you want to cast from your device and I've set up a guest account on Disney which you are welcome to use. Guest access All of the caravan is for your use Other things to note Situated next to the famous Ladybank Golf course designed by Old Tom Morris, steeped in history and recently ranked #2 in Great Britain's Top 100 Courses £100 & under. Surrounded by beautiful woodland and lovely views. 16 miles from St Andrews for a taste of hundreds of years of history with the castle and cathedral plus beautiful beaches, and lots of places to eat. The Dook at West Sands Beach is great for hot drinks and snacks. Ice cream from Luvians or Janettas should be tried! The Fife Coastal path spans 120 miles is beautiful...well worth a drive around and we'll happy to recommend places to visit for walking or decent fish and chips! The Ladybank Inn is a small village pub serving food and has quiz nights and music acts. FB best for what's on. It's about 20 min walk through the wood. Also a train station for access to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth. There's a wee cafe and a Chinese takeaway in the village too. The Kettlebridge Inn is a fabulous Italian restaurant but only small so best to book ahead. Pitlessie Inn also not far and good for food. Falkland is just 7 miles away with the famous palace connected with Mary Queen of Scots and also known for its use in the filming of Outlander. East and West Lomond Hills are great for walkers of all levels, and the views are stunning. Lovely café The Lomond Tea Room and chocolate shop, and Pillars of Hercules has an organic farm shop and cafe. Glenrothes is also approx 7 miles away for Asda, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi, B&M, Home Bargains and other places to stock up plus a small shopping centre. 2 x McDonalds, Burger King, Costa and Starbucks plus Chinese and Indian buffet and other eateries. Cupar is 6 miles away for a small Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, B&M and Costa. Fisher & Donaldson bakery is famous for its fudge donuts and hot chocolate! Also if you need Minor Injuries Unit it's best to come here. For A&E you have Dundee or Kirkcaldy.
