Explore Olympic Peninsula from this tranquil waterfront cabin. Simply kayak on the calm water of Sequim Bay, collect shells from the inter tidal zone or bike along Olympic Discovery Trail or take a short walk to Seqium Bay State Park next door. Visit the Olympic National Park, where endless adventure lies from sea to sky! Within 15 min drive, you can reach the town of Sequim with restaurants and supermarkets like Costco, Safeway, Walmart, etc conveniently. The space The cabin has spacious living and dinning space with water view. Open kitchen has all the essentials for you to cook delicious meals. One bedroom with queen bed has a newly remodeled ensuite bathroom with shower and bathtub and a view to the evergreen forest. Another tiny room is mainly used as a workspace. You can also enjoy your morning coffee or evening meditation on the spacious deck in front of the house. A Trager grill is provided (best for smoking dishes not grilling) Water is accessed by going down the steep stairs. Take the kayaks/paddles boards down the stairs to launch straight from the private water front of the house and soak in the serenity of Sequim Bay. Guest access The cabin is accessed through a private driveway at the end of the road. There are two houses on site of this 2-acre property. The larger main house is set up for short term rental as well. Stairs to the water and kayaks/paddles boards (enough for 7 ppl) is shared. We recommend one to two attractions per day to allow time to enjoy the nature. - Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, 15 miles, 25 min - Purple Haze Lavender farm, 5 miles, 10 min - Sequim (Costco, Walmart, Safeway, QFC etc), 6 miles, 10 min - Port Townsend, 26 miles, 40 min - Port Angeles, 22 miles, 30 min This is our home, please take good care of it! It's not a resort with round-the-clock service. Like any home, things may occasionally need attention, and being in a peaceful rural setting means that arranging for a technician can sometimes take a little extra time.
