The beautiful old town, a visit to the Salt Museum and a visit to the Lüne Monastery are recommended. 12 km to the east you will reach the 800-year-old half-timbered town of Bleckede, located directly on the Elbe. There you can visit the "Biosphaerium Elbtalaue Schloss Bleckede." On a bicycle rickshaw you can enjoy nature. 7 km away is the largest ship lift in Germany. Experience the lifting process up close in a passenger ship.
