This man-made waterfront community is packed with restaurants and cafes. The Walk is a beach-side boulevard that has a line of restaurants, cafes, handicraft shops, boutiques, pop-up markets with food and jewellery stalls. There are street performances and an amazing nightlife as well. The Beach refers to the beach resort itself complete with activities that are available to anyone from beach-side dining and shopping to wakeboarding, parasailing, banana boat rides, and camel rides. There is also a 600-m running track, an outdoor gym, and a volleyball court for those who enjoy jogging alongside the beach and those who want to keep up with their fitness. An outdoor yoga class is also offered for anyone who wants to keep their health at a great shape. The Bluewaters Island is where the Dubai Eye is located - the upcoming biggest ferris wheel in the world, expected to be completed in 2019. The Jumeirah Beach Residence 2, meanwhile, is less than 10 minutes away. You can get on one if you want to simply go around JBR, Knowledge Village, Media City, or Marina Mall. This also connects to a metro station if you like to go around Dubai on your own (Dubai Mall or Mall of Emirates). The Marina Promenade Waterbus Station is also a few minutes away.
