From Crubbit

Da Crubbit is a cosy one bedroom, single story, detached house in the grounds of a larger property. Situated on the west side of Burra Isle in one of the most scenic locations in Shetland. Next door to the Shetland Pony Experience and Marinas' Cake Fridge. Within walking distance to East House, one of the last thatched cottages in Shetland and Min and Bannamin Beaches. Located only 4 miles from the local shop in Hamnavoe and 13 miles to Lerwick, there are regular buses between Burra, Scalloway and Lerwick. The space The property is a one bedroomed single story house approximately 10 years old. It's double glazed, highly insulated with underfloor heating. You enter the property into a porch which has big windows and a seating area so you can soak in the view. When you come in the inside door you enter the hallway. The open plan kitchen/ living room is to your left. The kitchen has a gas cooker and hob plus all your kitchen necessaries. There is a kitchen table and chairs in front of the sitting room window. In the middle of the hallway is the bathroom which has a shower over the bath. In the bathroom cupboard you will find extra bedding if required, an ironing board , iron and clothes airer. At the far end of the hallway is the double bedroom. There is a king size bed with drawers in the base (there is more extra bedding stored here). The bed has bedside lights at each side of the bed. There are chests of drawers and a dresser so ample clothes storage.
