There is so much to do onsite and nearby. The townhouse is a quick walk to Smuggs Village at the base of Morse Mountain where there are several restaurants, an ice cream shop, a country store, and a ski shop. In the summer and fall, it’s a short walk to resort pools and slides, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, the Fun Zone, Teen Alley, and mini golf. There’s also plenty of local sightseeing/shopping in beautiful Vermont towns like Stowe and Burlington, and gorgeous hiking and biking trails for all levels. For a fee, guests can get access to resort pools and the Fun Zone. In the winter, enjoy easy access to more than 70 ski trails: Morse Mountain Village ski lift (easy mountain with practice hill and mostly green runs) is a 3 minute walk or a free shuttle ride away. More experienced skiers can ski over to Sterling and Madonna Mountains, or take the blue bus from the Morse Mountain Village. The Village Green often has live music and fun events. We highly recommend buying lift tickets in advance as the resort can book up during busy periods. Smuggs has a good app with helpful information on tickets, programs, weather, and trail status. Day trip to Montreal - less than 2h Day trip to Stowe - 15-20 minutes summer, 45-50 winter (when the Notch road is closed). Day trip to Burlington - approx 50-55 minutes Parking is free and first come first served. There is a lot in front of and behind the townhouse. There’s a free shuttle to take you around the resort, call 7000 from the house phone or connect through the contact page in the Smugglers Notch app. Please note -the resort’s broadband issues prevent the townhouse smart TVs from connecting to the wifi. However, data is fast throughout the resort area, so streaming on other devices with data works well.
