Weekly discount available. The space The Banks-Steele House is historically significant as it is the first duplex to be erected in Chesapeake City circa 1854. In over (nearly) TWO CENTURIES of its existence, the once duplex has since been turned into a single-family home as well as having a few "face-lifts" with a renovation of the kitchen and bar area. You will notice the charm of yesteryear throughout the house in the doors, floors, and windows, but most noticeably in the stairwells leading to the 2nd and 3rd floor (please take caution when going up or down and use the handrails at all times).
