Because of this, guests may occasionally encounter insects or small animals (such as ants, mosquitoes, lizards, or coquí frogs) even though the property is cleaned thoroughly and we perform regular professional pest control. This is normal for the area and not considered a cleanliness issue. While we do our best to minimize encounters, it is impossible to guarantee a 100% insect-free environment in the tropics. Lost or damaged items will be charged.
