This is a unique, newly built Treehouse (‘23) on 10 wooded acres near Watts Bar Lake. Nearby marinas, restaurants, hiking, waterfalls & a short drive to whitewater rafting & Gatlinburg! Enjoy the peace & quiet of your private deck overlooking a small Holly grove, lush forest & seasonal creek! Fire pit w/ sitting area, outdoor kitchen & BBQ. Comfy space upstairs w/queen memory foam bed, futon loveseat, full bath, fireplace & mini kitchen. Seasonal Kayaks. No pets or kids under 12! The space This Treehouse is located on a beautiful forested 10 acre property overlooking Watts Bar Lake. Holly Grove sits near a small grove of Holly trees. Enjoy the hiking trails and nature outdoors, or just hang out in the Hammock and let the world go by. We do have neighbors, so please respect the property lines which are clearly marked with flags, posts, string and signs! *Be sure to check out our other treehouse “Squirrel’s Nest”! We are sorry, but no pets or children under 12yrs are allowed, you will be asked to leave if you arrive with them due to heights, steep stairs and safety! Guest access You will enjoy your own private treehouse and deck with beautiful forest views and have access to the trails, hammocks, seasonal creek, walking distance to Watts Bar Lake! Treehouse door is key coded and code is sent to guest. Door is usually unlocked on the day of arrival. Guests will need to be able to climb stair/ladder with hand rail to access upstairs living area. We recommend descending like a ladder, and please use handrails! Designated parking across from the tree house. We leave the downstairs light on for our guests who are arriving after dark, so please turn it off when you arrive. We have solar lights that are motion activated when you approach the tree house and parking area. You are in the forest, so please keep the front door closed at all times to avoid any crawling or flying insect visitors. Sorry, no pets or children under 12 yrs allowed due to heights, steep stairs and safety! Other things to note This is the forest, so bring bug spray, hiking and water shoes. There is plenty of wildlife to see, Squirrel, Flying Squirrel, Raccoon, Possum, Snakes, Lizard, Deer, Rabbits, Fox, Ground Hog, Fox, Woodchuck, Beaver, lots of different kinds of birds, as well as hummingbird, lots of waterfowl, so binoculars are a good choice for nature watching. You might even catch a glimpse of the local Bald Eagles, Falcons, Hawks, Owls and Osprey who nest nearby! The Holly GroveTreehouse was built using new and repurposed materials, is situated near a small grove of Holly trees and is attached to beautiful Hickory and Chestnut! (In the Fall Season, the flying squirrels sometimes will knock a couple nuts off onto the treehouse roof so don't be surprised.) Guests will need to be able to climb stair/ladder with hand rail to access upstairs living area. We are sorry no pets or kids under 12 yrs are allowed. The driveway is steep, so get a run at it! Kayaks are free to use at your own risk. Please see host for details. Please be careful with fire as we are in the forest! We do supply firewood and starter.
