However, be sure to ask our guide to accompany you when off-roading. During your stay with us, you will be cared for by our trio: Sisira, our Chef; Philips, our Demi-chef & caretaker; and Manoj, our gardener & handyman. In addition to what they do best, Sisira will entice you with his exquisite cuisines, whilst Philips will go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and pleasing as possible. Manoj, on the other hand, will be your field guide on the property and tour guide around the locality. All in all, you will find them to be most helpful and amiable as any Sri Lankan would be. Generally, there are 3 seasons to experience. Mid-May to August is the sunny and windy season. You can relish the bright sunny days with clear blue skies. Since we are on a mountain top, you can also best enjoy the gusty winds during this season. By the end of August, the winds have weaned off and the dry, sunny spells settle in and continue till the end of October. The refreshing rainy season begins from the end of October and lasts till Mid-May. Temperatures vary from a peak of mid 30°C in April to low 20°C in December. Nonetheless, nights and early mornings can get chilly all year round, so be sure you’re well prepared for them!
