Just simply a beautiful, super clean vacation home right at the beach. One of the best beach houses for rent at Wells Beach right on Atlantic Ave, which is THE place to be at Wells Beach. The house is very private and nearest the best “rock free/long sands” area of Wells Beach. So many places to explore from the harbor, to local area restaurants and shopping. Just bring yourselves, your luggage and food/drink you need... This house is a great option for those flying in from out of town or driving up from Massachusetts/NH/NY and beyond. We provide all the items you and your family typically need for the beach, including: -beach chairs -beach umbrella -boogies boards -beach towels This isn’t your typical older and weathered beach house. There are high end finishes throughout including hardwood floors, attractive granite kitchen countertops and backsplash, heated tile bathroom floors, marble vanities and gas fireplace with crown molding. Magnificent kitchen with gorgeous center island and views of the Atlantic Ocean and Webhannet River. Three Floors of ample living space including 4 bedrooms, including a master suite with impressive attached full bathroom. 3 other bedrooms are very spacious and offer views of the ocean and river. All 4 bedrooms have queens beds with additional sleeping for a small toddler and baby, with a baby crib and a pack and play “toddler-like bed” if needed. In addition to the 4 Queen Beds in each of the 4 Bedrooms: The main living room has two couches, one with a pull out sofa bed. There is also a futon bed in Bedroom #3 upstairs that folds out into a futon-like sleeping bed. Each bed has a light comforter, pillows and there are plenty of blankets. The bathrooms are large and modern with marble shower enclosure and granite basins. All towels for the bathrooms are provided, along with a fully stocked kitchen and full sized propane gas grill on the back deck. Please do bring your own linens (sheets/pillowcases) for the beds and any body wash/shower soaps and shampoos you plan to use. We make it a point to go the extra mile to deep clean and sanitize the entire house between guests, and as a result, the cleanliness of the house is a big benefit and much appreciated by our guests! Located just across the street from the arguably the nicest part of Wells Beach with easy dual access paths. Many parts of the beach are quite rocky, but this part is all sand and has a dramatic difference between low and high tide. At low tide, there is about 100 yards of flat hard sand after about 30 yards of softer sand that exists when it’s high tide... just so much space on the beach, and if you have kids, they will love it! The house is stocked with essentials: silverware, kitchen utensils, pots/pans, etc. but of course, we may not have EVERYTHING you’d imagine... so please check with us ahead of time for anything unique or specific! (i.e. - we didn’t have a “salad spinner,” which was actually something desired from a guest, but then added one!) For sanitary purposes, please bring your own sheets and pillow cases for all 4 queen sized beds. If you need us to provide these linens, if you are flying in from out of New England, we can for a small fee (please let us know). Bathrooms are stocked with hand and bathing towels for use inside the home. There are also some beach towels in the downstairs wicker basket. Everything you need to cook your own lobster and steamer feast is here...including multi lobster pounds nearby and a Hannaford supermarket off Mile Rd. A propane cooking grill is available on the rear deck, with grill utensils. If propane runs out please let us know so we can comp you for the propane tank refill. Please know there is no dedicated dining room... but there is a kitchen dining island, small side kitchen table, living room-coffee table and some dining trays in the closet. There is also a large 10 foot long family picnic table for outdoor dining in the back, purchased and finished in 2019. Fully laundry facility on first floor (Washer and Dryer). Free Cable TV, Roku & WiFi throughout your stay. You'll have a complete Beach House vacation guide waiting for you on the kitchen counter when you arrive with all the local information, materials and guides you'll need to make the most of your time in the Wells Beach area. You’ll have full access to the entire beach house. It’s all yours for when you’re there. There is a smart lock with key pad on the front door. You will be issued an access code prior to arrival. PLEASE BE ADVISED: There are TWO (2) PARKING SPOTS available directly in front of the house, and we also have two additional overnight parking passes you can put in your car window, where these +2 parking spaces are available a short distance down the street (during summer months, May 1 to October 1). It’s very important that you please plan your ground transportation at the house for only TWO CARS, as that’s how many cars we can fit in front of the house. There is a driveway that MUST remain clear that leads to another house. +2 additional cars are able to use the summer season passes. We are generally not in the area during guests stays at the house....but are available via AirBnb Messaging whenever needed. We also have a local property manager who lives 2 minutes away here at Wells Beach. THE BEAUTIFUL BEACH. Trolley service available to go to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. Great restaurants and activities. Walking distance to the casual Forbes Restaurant for some classic Maine seafood, the Rollover Cafe for local coffee and the Loveshack Juicery for freshly made smoothies an acai bowls. Tons of things to do with the kids from beach fun to ocean sports, and a short walk from ice cream, seafood at Forbes Restaurant, the Rollover Cafe for local coffee, the Loveshack Juicery for freshly made smoothies an acai bowls, local gift shops, Boardwalk Arcade and Wells Beach miniature golf is a short drive up Mile Road. There is even a Dunkin Donuts a short drive on Route 1 (for those who love their morning Dunkin’s coffee). Also very close to the famous Congdon’s Donuts! A must eat at for at least one breakfast! And good food trucks in summer evenings! And short drive to the famous Scoop Deck for an evening ice cream you won't forget! It’s best to have a car to get around town and other places nearby. However, if all you want to do is be at the beach, hit the local Forbes seafood and drink mojitos on the decks of the house itself, no driving is necessary! Just a couple of basic hours rules for the house: - No smoking - No pets - Please remove shoes when inside the house We do provide some paper towels and toilet paper for each guest... but if you plan to use extra, it’s a good idea to bring additional as you see fit. TRASH PICKUP IS EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. If you check in on any day other than Tuesday, it’s very likely there will be some trash in the trash barrels outside. This is normal. Trash needs to be put out at the street on Monday night. CHECK IN is 4pm CHECK OUT is 10am Mid June - Mid September = 7 night minimum (Saturday check in/out available only) All other dates = 3 night minimum.
