Bright & Beautiful Cottage Near Caspian Lake

Have fun with friends and family at this fully renovated 1800s farmhouse conveniently located near charming Caspian Lake and Hill Farmstead Brewery in the Northeast Kingdom. Walking distance from Highland Lodge, the house is situated on a beautiful plot of land with a small creek on the border, a standout kitchen, and fun design details. The space The three-bedroom house gets a lot of light, and features two covered porches, a solo stove fire pit, and a large kitchen with top-tier appliances. The master bedroom offers a comfortable king-sized bed and desk. The second private bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Access to the third bedroom is through the master bedroom and has two twin beds, perfect for kids but can be used for an adult or two who are comfortable with a grown-up slumber party. Very sorry, but no smoking or pets are allowed in the house. Guest access Guests will be able to use the entire house, short one owner's closet and the garage. Other things to note We live in this space too! This means that we’ve taken care to make it feel like a real home, with everything our family (and friends and guests) might need. Please be sure to read and refer to the house manual (under your trips tab once you book) for details and directions specific our house and its contents—we want you to get the most out of your stay without any surprises! We’ve invested in comfy new mattresses and new bedding for a dreamy night’s sleep, as well as cozy towels and robes. Luggage racks, fans and white noise machines are all provided. There is a 32” smart tv for streaming in the upstairs closet. The tv is easy-to-move and you are welcome to move it to your room of choice. Simply log into your favorite service via the handy apps. There is an attractive Klipsch bluetooth speaker for playing your favorite music, and wireless charging pads and outlets with usb ports located throughout the house. As passionate cooks, we have thoughtfully outfitted the kitchen and it’s a great space to craft a meal. There is a new fridge, new double wall ovens, new toaster, new coffee machine and new toaster (among other just-out-of-the-box appliances). We’ve supplied a generous range of high-quality glasses, dishes, serving pieces, and cooking and bakeware. Dutch oven? Kitchen scale? Citrus press? Cuisinart? Ginger grater? They’re all here! Something we missed? Let us know! Staple pantry items are provided (spices, oils, vinegar, fish sauce, sugar etc). There is a second sink and bar area with all the necessary cocktail-crafting tools. The house is well stocked with a huge assortment of games for all ages, as well as art supplies, and children’s and YA books! The clothes washer and drier are in the basement. The house has a good wifi/internet connection. Aside from the bathroom, there are no curtains in the house; we find the views and light so incredibly enjoyable. Please be sure to pack a sleep mask if sunlight tends to disrupt your slumber. We try to have some available for guests, but they tend to get lost or misplaced so best to bring your own.
