Kookaburra Cottage at Blue Wren Haven is your very own cute little private cabin, with a beautiful country outlook across local farmland. You may hear the cheeky kookaburras laughing from the tree tops or possibly even a kangaroo grazing in the paddock nearby. This cozy cottage is the perfect peaceful stop when travelling from the Great Ocean Road to the Grampians. The Great Ocean Road and Port Campbell is just 23 mins away, and the 12 Apostles are a short 30 min drive. The space Kookaburra Cottage is a beautiful cosy and compact open plan studio. It has a well equipped kitchen where you can cook meals, and a large king-size bed for you to stretch out and relax after a long day exploring the Great Ocean Road. The couch is a sofa bed that can accommodate a third guest if necessary. Perfect for parents and a child. If you require bedding for the sofa bed, please let us know when booking so we can accommodate you. The bathroom is compact but sufficient. Other things to note Your cottage is located approximately 40 metres from the main house where our family lives, however your cottage is completely private and we won't bother you during your stay. Our area is home to an abundance of wildlife, and this includes snakes and lizards as well as bugs, insects, spiders and ants. If you are not a nature lover, then this might not be the property for you. You may, at times, encounter a lizard or snake on the property. It is your responsibility to keep an eye out. The cottage runs on rain water. This means that water must be used sparingly. Showers should be kept to 3-5mins. There is no washing machine in the cottage, however Timboon has a great little laundrette if you are staying for more than a couple of days.
