Access the entrance area to the studio is in our backyard within a gated area. Please walk through the front yard to the side of the house, access the gated area from the far-right side of our front yard. Do not wear your shoes for your special event when walking through our yard. After going through the gate, you will walk down and incline of a grassy and steppingstone area. The walking path to the back of the house is not recommended for elderly or those that have trouble walking on uneven surfaces and inclines. Please use a flashlight at dusk, dawn, and when dark. We have plenty of lighting, but if it was a cloudy or rainy day, not all lighting will be lit, so a flashlight will be helpful. The door that will be your entrance will be in the back of the house. The first room you will walk into is a common room for our family but a bonus room for our Airbnb guest. the bonus room can be used to place your muddy shoes, wet umbrellas, bikes, or other items. Once you're in the bonus common room, your door to the studio, will be to the right. Some guests prefer to access the gated area from the parking pad side of the yard. You're welcome to use that side, however, it is steep incline and slippery when wet. Other things to note I am a recent widow. Together, we had six grown children and one teenager. Our teen has TRIO disease with two variants and is nonverbal but expresses himself with giggles and " Droid" language. He is very sweet and well-behaved. He does play with toys for toddlers and makes noises when he gets excited. I do live upstairs with my developmentally delayed teenage son. We are gone a lot for therapies and activities. When we are home, we try to be mindful, but you could or will hear water running , us walking around, the dogs barking, or walking across the floor. Between work and therapies, I do a lot of my cooking and household chores at night. You will be in our downstairs and will hear occasional noises a house makes such as water running, pitter patting of our 2 dogs, as well as us walking around. We are mindful of guests staying downstairs and will try our best not to disturb our guest. The house should be quite 90% of your stay. I have 2 ladies that help me with my properties. You are welcome to walk the serenity trail, that leads from the front yard through the backyard. Currently, the trail in the back is being redone, but still is navigable. Guests are welcome to use any outdoor seating or fire pit. Currently, we do not have chairs for the fire pit, so if you want to use the fire pit, bring your camp chairs. Please use purchase wood from a local source. Please do not use the microwave and the toaster oven at the same time. If you have any issues or questions please reach out.
