The setup is such that you can check-in with minimal coordination with me. I am available by phone or email. Of course, I also value your privacy, and I ask that you respect your neighbors' privacy, too. This neighborhood is home to many IU faculty because of its walk-ability to campus. The home is a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the School of Music, thru the Vinegar Hill Historic District and Bloomington's signature Elm Heights neighborhood. There is easy access to the eastside grocery shopping, nearby village centers with coffee and take-out. The city's best dining and cocktails is just a 3 minute drive away, or a pleasant 10 minute stroll. There is a carport that will hold two vehicles side-by-side, and the driveway can accommodate another four vehicles. The carport has two EV chargers for your Tesla or other electric vehicle. The house is centrally located towards the east-side, and just a short drive to the IU football stadium, Lake Monroe, and Nashville/Brown County. After your reservation is confirmed, I will request that everyone in your group submit government-issued identification for each adult. Alternatively, you can link any adult's verified Airbnb profile to the reservation instead of submitting their ID. I request this for two reasons. First, to protect you and me. Sometimes the "friends" of the booking guest do not respect the property when they know they are not part of this transaction. Ever since I started doing this, I have made fewer claims on the security deposits that the booking guest (i.e., You) put up. I WILL NOT PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY until every adult in your group uploads an unredacted ID or is linked on the reservation. Please be respectful of your noise level during quiet hours (10pm to 8am). My neighbors live here full time and I work hard to maintain good relationships with them. The good news is that you can have as much fun as you want without worrying if you're disturbing the neighbors. My house is equipped with NoiseAware which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so we can give you a heads up. Rest assured that NoiseAware does not record content, it only measures noise levels so your privacy is 100% guaranteed. Similarly, there are security cameras covering all of the entrances to the house, but none inside. Your privacy in the private spaces is completely respected.
