Corfe Castle Lodge

Corfe Castle Lodge is a lovely spacious and peacefully situated detached house in a quiet lane in the pretty Purbeck village of Corfe Castle. Only a 10 minute walk from the iconic castle and village square with its National Trust tea shop, bakers, village shop & public houses. This is a wonderful walking area with nearby footpaths lead to the coast and lovely inland villages. The sandy beach of Swanage is a 10 minute drive away and can also be reached by Steam Train or regular bus service. The space Corfe Castle Lodge is a spacious two bedroomed house with fitted carpets upstairs and wooden floors with rugs on the ground floor. The ground floor is largely open plan with a sitting room with comfortable sofas, smart tv; dining area and and additional seating in a conservatory style area with a sliding door opening into the rear garden. There is a separate fitted kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven; microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. Stairs lead up from the inner hallway to two lovely bedrooms - one twin room and one with a king size bed and windows overlooking the garden. Upstairs there is also a fully tiled bathroom with a bath and overhead power shower, basin and w.c. There is a secluded fully fenced/gated garden at the rear with a lawn, apple trees and a patio with garden furniture. Parking space for one car in the front drive and an additional car can be parked immediately outside in the quiet lane. The house is centrally heated and has fast wifi. December is wonderful time in Corfe Castle. The Christmas lights make it particularly picturesque. Father Christmas and the Christmas lights are turned on 6th December. There is also a decorated Christmas Tree at Corfe Castle Lodge. Guest access The only part of the property to which guests do not have access is the garage
