This 1950s cozy cottage sits four houses back from steps down to the Lake and is a comfortable and peaceful place for a vacation. The beach connects to the Conneaut Township Park. You can easily enjoy listening to the waves, watching great sunsets, and watching boats and birds pass by. It has both a front and back porch to gather with family and friends plus a clean, cozy inside with and a fully-equipped kitchen. Open all year with off-season rates. The space NOTE: We have enhanced our already strict cleaning protocol to include the latest CDC recommendations. This cottage is new to the AirBnB market, but is well situated close to downtown Conneaut and the public beach. The electrical systems and plumbing have been modernized, but by design, some original furnishings remain to maintain the original charm and character. We will continue to renovate the space over time, but even today it is a perfect getaway. The house has a TV with an Amazon Fire stick attached if you want to relax out of the sun. There is also an HDMI cord if you want to stream anything from your laptop. There are eight rooms: an indoor porch when you walk through the front door, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, two bedrooms (both with queen beds), two full bathrooms, a back porch with table and chairs that seats six, and a front porch that you can see the lake from. The entire place is yours to enjoy. Guest access Guests have full access to house and yard and homeowners association private beach access. Also nearby are beautiful public beaches and local wineries and watering holes, golf courses, covered bridges, and chartered fishing excursions. Many local dining options including: Sparkey’s, State Street Diner, Rainbow Cafe, Angela's Cafe, Biscotti Italian Restaurant, Castaways, and more. Conneaut harbor is 1.25 miles away where you can rent kayaks and a gas station is less than a mile west of the cottage on Lake Road. Other things to note Given that this is also our home, and we’re friends with all of the neighbors, we just ask that you please be respectful of the street and our space. Please:     •    Do not go into the basement! We are not responsible for any injuries if you decide to ignore this request;     •    Lock the doors and close the garage when you go down to the beach. The area is pretty safe, but we cannot ensure your things will be safe in the house if it’s open;     •    Turn off the lights and close the windows if you have the AC running;     •    No smoking in the house;     •    No large parties; and     •    Absolutely NO Animals! We are new to AirBnB so we are open to private feedback on what else we can add to make your stay more enjoyable.
