A unique boathouse in beautiful Austevoll, which is peaceful and undisturbed. Here you can enjoy quiet days by the sea. Fishing, kayaking, diving and swimming. Or rent a boat and get out to the islets and cliffs here in the island municipality. Welcome! The space The boathouse is newly renovated and completed in May 2023. Externally, it looks new and modern and inside we have tried to preserve as much as we could of the original boathouse. Kitchen and bathroom are modern and new, while walls and ceilings have a lot of history in them. It is simply completely unique! With large windows, you can enjoy views of the lake regardless of the weather. And perhaps best of all, you have a large and nice quay all to yourself during your stay. Here you can enjoy a refreshing swim, or try your luck at fishing right from the quay. There are opportunities to rent sit-on-top kayaks and an Øyen 620. To rent a boat you must have a valid boat license or be born before 1980. Boat training will be provided upon rental. Rental of Sit-on-top kayaks can be arranged on site (including oars and life jacket) New this year (2024) is the Sauna. It can accommodate about 4 people. Must be booked in advance We have 4 bedrooms available, 1 bedroom with double bed. Bedroom 2 has a family bunk bed, and 2 rooms on the loft have two single beds. There is room for a travel bed for children in 3 of the rooms There is 1 bathroom with shower and toilet on the 2nd floor, and one toilet on the 1st floor There are also opportunities to use the washing machine. The 1st floor consists of 1 large, modern and social kitchen, and one long table with room for 12 people that can also serve as a work table. Otherwise, there is a small and cozy coffee corner. The bedrooms are not soundproof as this was not so good and few to when we preserved much of the old construction. There are many nice hiking areas nearby, whether you want to use your legs, bike, car or boat. There are also good bus/boat and ferry connections to Stord and Bergen. Security deposit.3000kr. This is a great boat for fishing or day trips. It is very stable and has spacious door space. The boat is rented for max 4 people on board at the same time. It is mandatory with a life jacket. You can find in the pillow box behind the boathouse. You must have a valid boat certificate or be born before 1980 to rent. Necessary boat training will be done before rental. It will be delivered cleaned and with full gas tank ,and should be returned as such. All use of the boat is under any responsibility. All fish and seafood handling shall be done outdoors. And herring bones and remnants should be thrown at the end of the floating jetty. There are also 3 sit on top kayaks that you can take advantage of 2 single and 1 double. 1 sup tray, Please let us know if you need sup so we can get it ready. Sup and kayaks are included in the price. Wood-burning hot tub This must be booked before your stay, NOK 1500 for the entire stay. If the harbor is not so good, so in winter time it may be that we take the boat away from the side. The boat will not be rented in case of inclement weather. We provide 2 bags of firewood. If you need more wood, we have bags for sale. 130 NOK per bag . Sauna can also be used, but must be booked in advance. 550,- per hour Don't jump or plunge from the dock. Use a floating dock for this There is Chrome cast tv available For the use of coffee machine, please bring your own coffee beans. There is and coffee maker in the kitchen. It is possible to charge Electric car. To get to the loft rooms, you have to use a raised/lowered staircase leading up to a bridge between the rooms. This staircase is only used when the loft rooms are in use. It can be a little heavy,so children should not handle this. Payment for boat sauna etc from foreign guests, we can use pay pal or Revolut Should it be of interest, I have contacts that can provide fresh scallops, and I can also provide snow crab.
