Omarcity design house
Description
The house is a former family-owned mansion with industrial atelier that we turned into a contemporary family business. We carefully restored the building, maintaining the history by preserving old elements and transformed it into a modern spacious place filled with stories and contemporary design and art. The result: a gallery, showroom, eventspace, creative hub and experiential guesthouse all under one roof. A place to relax, meet, collaborate, create and discover, inspire and get inspired. The space The house features two spacious living rooms, two dining rooms, and up to five bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms come with fully equipped private bathrooms, while two additional separate toilets are available. On the first floor, you’ll find a large, fully equipped kitchen, and next to the dining room, there is an inviting extra terrace. Outside, a communal patio awaits, complete with a wood-fired oven (available upon request). Downstairs, beside the patio, there's a second kitchen, an extra toilet, and an outdoor bar. Adjacent to these areas is a special room dedicated to relaxation, meditation, reading, and conversation—available upon request. On the ground floor, in the warehouse space, we offer a co-working atelier. We welcome artists, designers, and creatives to book a residency or use the guesthouse and atelier for their creative projects. This is available by request. Our showroom, gallery, and event space are ideal for hosting a variety of activities. If you have a unique idea or request, please don’t hesitate to reach out. In our small shop, you’ll find a curated selection of handpicked objects for the mind and body, as well as unique home accessories that allow you to take a piece of Omarcity with you. In the living room, you’ll discover books and music to help you unwind and get inspired by the stories behind the designs and art showcased on our platform, "Omarcity." The large living room also features a cozy fireplace, perfect for a relaxing evening. Guest access The whole house is for your private use. Only the patio is a communal space, shared with us or with the artists designers that work in the atelier downstairs. The event space/gallery/showroom and atelier are only on request. Other things to note We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding noise disturbances. If you wish to rent our house for parties, you are not welcome.
