Immerse yourself in a sea of meadows when you stay in this special house. The house has almost 2000 square meters of meadow and you are surrounded by the hilly Eifel pastureland on the edge of the village of Eckfeld in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel. Water is not far with the Eifel Maars and an abundance of hiking and cycling trails, especially the Maare-Mosel cycle path. We are pleased to rent you our house, where you can just relax! The space The house was built in 2014 and offers you 100 square meters of living space spread over two floors. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms, one on each floor and a sofa bed in the upstairs gallery. The kitchen is new (from 2022), well equipped with an oven, dishwasher and fridge and everything you need for cooking and eating. One of our highlights is the tiled stove/fireplace. Wood is at your disposal! The spacious living/cooking/dining area has 3 floor-to-ceiling double windows that let the sun in throughout the day, all with access to the large garden. The house has shutters on both floors and for all windows, which protect against both brightness and solar radiation in summer. Other things to note The house is very well connected via the A1. Culture, sights and shopping can be found in 15 minutes in the Eifel towns of Daun and Wittlich and in just 45 minutes in the Roman city of Trier. The Gesundland Vulkaneifel offers many hiking and cycling opportunities such as the Mosel-Maare cycle path, a disused railway line over viaducts and through tunnels down to the Moselle, and for adventurers the castle climbing trail in Manderscheid. Since 2019, the Wittlich Association of Municipalities has been charging a guest fee of €1.50 per adult per day. For this purpose, data such as name, address, etc. will be filled in online via a link. An email address is required for this. The money must also be transferred to me. The municipality provides a coupon booklet that can be accessed via an app.
