Recently restored Cub Acre Farm House, sits on a thirty-acre working family farm, built on the banks of the Shenandoah River in 1848. Relax, unwind and disconnect from the stresses of everyday life while you wade in Cub Run Creek, canoe on the Shenandoah River, fish from the dock, or just relax on the high porch and listen to the creek rushing over the rocks. The space The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with TV and a DVD player with a light selection of movies. The front and rear entrances to the porches are also on this level . The porches offer excellent views with swings and rockers. The upper level has a primary bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and a second bedroom that has room for four with a double and two twins. There is a bathroom with a shower/tub combo in between the bedrooms. Linens are provided. Two canoes and four adult size life jackets are free for guests to utilize with a signed liability waiver. As a note, we do not provide child sized life jackets, you will need to bring your own. A dirt/rock ramp is on the premises should guests want to bring their own kayaks or canoes. The floating dock is available during the summer months This property offers a large yard with a clear pathway leading down to the Shenandoah River. There is a children’s swing set in the back yard. Down at the river we provide picnic tables, a charcoal grill, swings, and a port-a-john (available June-September) that’s cleaned weekly . Bring your outdoor gear and enjoy your stay. Guest access Guests can access the main and upper level living areas of the house. The yard surrounding the main house and the river picnic area are available for guest access as well. Other things to note WIFI is available throughout the house
