180 degrees of breathtaking views of the Atlantic (at about 200 meters above sea level), a lot of green everywhere and no neighbors in sight: if you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a traditional Azorean stone cottage placed in a magical landscape, this is the place for you. Casas do Horizonte is a traditional compound of two homes (the main farm house and a converted millhouse) set in 2 acres of gardens and wooded areas. The space The main house is an authentic Azorean stone cottage, renovated to modern standards. It has a comfortable living/dining room, a well equipped open kitchen, a large bedroom and a spacious bathroom. Other amenities are cable TV, high speed internet, dishwasher, washing machine. You will also be able to enjoy a large dining table on a veranda and a great outdoor deck with sofa and chairs. There are also expansive gardens with local plants and lots of fruit trees. Parking is easy. The two houses on the property are detached and maintain a great deal of privacy, due to their positionings. If you need more space and are interested in renting the whole thing (at an additional cost), don't hesitate to ask. Other things to note You will get a welcome basket with local products: bread, cheese from the island of São Jorge, Rainha do Pico butter, jam, bananas, eggs and a bottle of Pico wine. We don't charge cleaning fees. The house may not be suitable for children. Some terraces and walkways don’t have railings and may be dangerous in case of a fall.
