The house was tastefully decorated in July 2023 and comprises of a full kitchen, king bedroom with shower ensuite and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom to suit up to four guests. Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital. The space There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven and fridge/freezer, ideal for those occasions when you prefer to eat at home. You will find UHT milk, tea/coffee and sugar upon check in. There is also a washing machine (3 non bio pods will be supplied), condenser dryer, iron and ironing board should you need to do the laundry during your stay. The sitting room has a large, comfortable lounge suite facing the 55” SKY glass TV with Netflix, Prime etc, coffee and drink tables and a dining table suitable for four people. Leading off the sitting room is the bright and colourful conservatory with seating and an electric fire for those cosy nights in. The two bedrooms are located on the first floor. The smaller bedroom, a double, has a hanging rack and two bedside tables for clothes storage and is next to the main bathroom which has an over the bath shower. The main bedroom is king size, has built in wardrobes, a ceiling fan and has a walk in shower ensuite. The house has a South facing rear garden where you will find a summer house with two chairs to relax in while keeping away from any breeze. A gate in the garden leads to the two dedicated parking spots. People with limited mobility please note - this is a double storey house with steep steps to the rear garden and the parking area. Access to the rear garden and parking area can be obtained by walking around from the front of the house. There is WiFi internet access throughout the property. Guest access Guests will have private use to all areas of the house except one locked small bedroom and two locked cupboards located in the main bedroom which the owner uses for storage. Other things to note The house is a terraced house located in a residential area. The house is compliant with Home Office Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 amendment of 1st October 2023. No animals allowed.
