From the rooftop pool you have a magnificent view over Cabanas Velhas beach, you’ll find yourself 500 m walking distance from this pristine beach. The space The place where you get close to (your) nature. Honest Place is a guesthouse on a unique location in Burgau, Algarve, one of the last remaining unspoilt regions of southern Europe. Raised by the ocean, sun and wind and originated by nature. The house is tucked away in the fold of a valley, snuggled beside the ocean and a sandy beach. Here you can experience the traditional charm of the old fishermen’s villages as Burgau and Salema. Inspired by nature, we created this place on top of the Barrancão Hill, facing the shimmer of the Atlantic and looking over the rolling green valley of Boca do Rio. This extraordinary and protected environment of the Costa Vincenta Natural Park makes our guesthouse a real haven of tranquillity and a stunning place for your getaway. A save haven to disconnect and to reconnect. Or to explore and try outdoor activities sush as surfing, yoga, cycling or mountain biking, hiking the famous Fisherman's trail, golfing on one of the many golf courses. At Honest Place we have a maximum capacity of 12 guests, because we like to keep things personal. You will have the entire villa. Our suites are located in and around an astonishing location, always flowing in harmony with simplicity and nature, yet without ever compromising on comfort. The house was renovated to an exceptional standard in 2017 by the previous owners and the garden has been taken care of with an abundance of love and care. Here you can find yourself strolling around, surrounded by old olive and fig trees. Or smell the freshness of our lemons and orange trees. Discover different fruit trees like apple, pear, grapefruit, plum, nectarine and grapevines in our garden. In short, a true nature-lover’s paradise. We created a space for you, our guest, to enjoy every moment of the day to your own rhythm. You’ll have access to our living space to simply relax or share stories in our outdoor spaces or around the fireplace during colder evenings. Our magnificent and inspiring garden is waiting for you and your bare feet. And there is a fully equipped kitchenette for you to use, to make yourself your favourite breakfast, lunch or dinner, located on the ground floor with access to the outdoor places. As we do not serve any food. We provide our guests ceramic plates, cutlery, cooking utensils and serving dishes as well as basics for cooking suchas salt and pepper and olive oil and feel free to use fresh rosemary and herbs from our garden and our fruits from the vegetable garden. The spacious living room has twin patio doors opening on to the front garden and the jacuzzi on the covered terrace. In the communal spacious living room, guests can relaxand even use the fireplace, cosy on cooler days and winter nights. You will find not only nature and outdoor activities within reach but also Lagos centre and Sagres are within 20 min drive of your stay. Guest access At Honest Place we have a maximum capacity of 12 guests, because we like to keep things personal. We created a space for you, our guest, to enjoy every moment of the day to your own rhythm. All rooms have it's ensuite bathroom and acces to the terrace. Incuded in your booking are as well all linen and utilities (water, gas, electricity and Wi-Fi) and towels and toiletries. You’ll have access to our living space to simply relax or share stories in our outdoor spaces or around the fireplace during colder evenings. Our magnificent and inspiring garden is waiting for you and your bare feet. And there is a fully equipped kitchenette for you to use, to make yourself your favourite breakfast, lunch or dinner. This kitchenette is located on the ground floor with access to the outdoor places. ‍ We provide our guests ceramic plates, cutlery, cooking utilities and serving dishes as well as basics for cooking (salt & pepper, olive oil, ..). Water, tea and coffee. And oh, feel free to use our fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables from the garden. The spacious living room has twin patio doors opening on to the front garden and the jacuzzi on the covered terrace. Please respect all our guests and keep it quite after 10pm. After a day full of adventures or surf sessions, you can enjoy a laidback moment in our jacuzzi, located on the ground floor terrace. Or do you feel more like going for a refreshing dip in the salted non heated pool, overlooking the Atlantic? Access to the outdoor terrace and 10 m long, saltwater, non-heated pool on the first floor is allowed from 9 am till 8 pm. As this part of the house includes also the private area of your host, please use the outdoor stairs to come upstairs and enjoy the panoramic view of this magnificent coastline. The property has a private parking space.. A baby cot and high chair available on request.
