Description

Have you wanted to try camping but don't know where to start? Try Glamping in a tiny cabin! Evergreen Algonquin is the perfect safe first step for anyone interested in camping but doesn't have the gear or experience. Built by the Muskoka Amish Building Company, this off-the-grid retreat offers a private escape, surrounded by nature. Enjoy all of your favourite outdoor activities nearby, throughout the year, knowing you have a safe, cozy space to return to at the end of the day. The space Evergreen Algonquin is situated on a 100+ year old family compound just off of Kawagama Lake road. The cabin has a single bed on the main level and double bed in the loft, a thermostat controlled propane fireplace, and an indoor kitchenette/ kitchenware for preparing and eating meals. There's an enclosed picnic area and a covered outdoor kitchenette with a propane bbq, a two burner propane cooktop with a small oven for preparing meals. The outdoor area also has an additional drinks cooler for your use- just bring ice! AND there's an outdoor hammock and firepit/ firewood provided as well as board games for rainy days. The building also features an inverter to charge your devices, 2 outdoor solar panels, and a cell signal booster- so you never have to worry about losing your connection to the outside world in case of emergencies. The outhouse has a state of the art Cinderella incinerator toilet, draining sink, and towels for your comfort. Please note there is no shower. Weather can be unpredictable so please check the forecast before your stay and come prepared for all weather. Also note that summer months can be buggy, smokey and fire bans may be in effect in this area. Also in general it is usually cooler here than Toronto temperatures so dress accordingly. Guest access The site is off the main driveway, but the rest of the property is private. Guests can reach out to the listing owner for questions or concerns about the property and visit the lovely enclosed raised vegetable garden in the warmer months.
