Lake and sea close to the accommodation!

Lake and sea accommodation in scenic Svenshögen Experience the tranquility of scenic Svenshögen with lake and forest within walking distance. Stay on the ground floor of a basement house with a nice swimming lake within walking distance. At the same time, you are close to everything that the west coast has to offer: saltwater swimming, cozy coastal communities such as Marstrand, Skärhamn and Smögen, nice restaurants and excursion destinations perfect for a day trip. The space The accommodation consists of four rooms, divided into two bedrooms, a dining room and a TV/living room. Bedrooms are furnished with 140 cm double beds, wardrobe, Smart TV and armchair. In one room there is also a desk, and in the other a dressing table. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and the entrance and has a table with room for four people. There are also brochures with tips on excursions, games, paper and pencils as well as a simple extra bed for those who want separate bedrooms. Room William is a cozy movie room, perfect for movie nights, but can also be used as a bedroom if you want a separate room – it is possible to make up the sofa bed if necessary. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. Porcelain and kitchen equipment are available for at least four people. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washing machine and drying rack. Outside, there is a small terrace facing south with barbecue facilities perfect for quiet evenings. A larger patio is also being built, which will be furnished to provide more opportunities to sit outside and enjoy nice weather. You can see and read more about this in the photo gallery. The accommodation is ideal as a fixed starting point for day trips on the west coast or as a convenient stop during transit. Here we want you to feel at home and have time for what you want to see and experience. You will always come to freshly-made beds, and if not all beds are used, they may be left untouched. Just leave used bedding and towels ready for washing at check-out, an easy way for us all to think about the environment and avoid unnecessary laundry. Guest access Guests have access to the entire ground floor of the house with its own entrance, providing both space and privacy. (Please note that two rooms are used by the host for storage. These are closed, and the host always notifies in advance if access is needed.) Outside there is a small patio with outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities – perfect for a quiet moment in the sun. A larger patio is also being built, which will be decorated to provide more opportunities to sit outside and enjoy nice weather. You can see and read more about this in the photo gallery. The stairs up to the upper terrace are not intended for guests, but are used by the host if necessary. A simpler barrier will be set up when the work on the terrace is completed. Parking is easy on the driveway just outside the house. Next to the entrance, wild strawberry plants grow that you are welcome to pick from during the season. Adjacent to the patio is also a small kitchen garden with fresh spices that guests are welcome to pick, but which the host also uses. 🌞 Summer period Over the summer I also rent the middle floor for shorter periods. Then my family and I live on the third floor. I always ask guests who rent the middle floor to show consideration and try to keep a low noise level, as sound can easily be heard downstairs. That way, everyone staying in the house will have a quiet and pleasant stay. I always inform you if there is anything or if a party is booked on the floor above. Other things to note During the summer, I also rent out the middle floor for shorter periods. Then my family and I live on the third floor. I always ask guests who rent the ground floor to show consideration and try to keep a low noise level, as noise can easily be heard downstairs. This way, everyone staying in the house will have a quiet and pleasant stay. The property is located on the basement level (partly below ground level). To keep the air fresh and the circulation good, we ask you to keep the doors to the rooms open as much as possible, even when you are not staying in the accommodation. The fans in the rooms help to circulate the air and create a comfortable indoor climate.
