Typical A-Frame stairs leading upstairs to two bedrooms. The master is in the back and has a work desk, queen bed and an awesome walk out balcony to sit and enjoy the birds chirping on. The front bedroom has two futon beds - perfect for one person per bed. It overlooks the downstairs living room area in a lofted setting. The game room has a sauna, bunches of games - including board games and a washer and dryer and additional refrigerator. Local attractions include White Lake Oaks golf course & Union Lake Golf Course - great for golfing and cross country skiing (at White Lake Oaks). Just a very short walk to Cedar Island Lake, close proximity to Alpine Valley Ski Resort and plenty of family friendly adventuring on the play scape and trails at Hess Hathaway Park, as well as Pontiac Lake Recreation Area. Not far to Twelve Oaks Mall, MJR theater and numerous wonderful restaurants. Just a short 15 minute drive from and to the Oakland County International Airport. Guest access The whole place Other things to note Just a few suggestions if you’re looking for stuff in the area. There is an ice cream place called Mr. C’s not far from there that’s very popular in the summer time. For breakfast, Leo’s Coney’s are always a good bet. Our cafe is approximately 20 minutes from there if you’re looking to drive a little more. It’s called @la_cafe_ on insta. We are closed on Mondays and open 9am-3pm Tuesday- Sunday. Highland House on M 59 has been around as long as I can remember and has amazing food for everyone - lunch and dinner. There is another place called Stellas - lunch and dinner - which is a little more on the fancy side but family friendly. Stella’s is in White Lake, right off of M 59 by Kroger, Hobby Lobby, JCPenney and Marshalls. There’s an Urgent Care in that same strip mall area. Both Highland House and Stella’s have great pizza! The breadsticks at Highland House are a MUST TRY!!! There’s a bar/restaurant called Billys Tippin Inn, also on M 59 that has live music and good food. Spraders on the Lake is a little dive bar on the water just minutes from the Aframe that offers drinks and appetizers. It’s about eight minutes from where you are. Nashville Detroit on Highland Rd has a little bit of anything greasy you could be craving and everyone raves about the gyro sandwiches at Graceland Party Store, also on Highland Rd. Meijer and Kroger are grocery stores on M59 (which is also called Highland road), as well as VC’s and if you’re looking for an afternoon matinee, MJR movie theater is about ten minutes from there. Ruggles Ranch & Farm Market on White Lake Rd. is open all summer long and offers fresh produce, homemade donuts and cider. You may want to call ahead of time depending on the time of year 🥰 In the winter time, Alpine Valley Ski Resort is just a short drive away. There is also cross country skiing at White Lake Oaks golf course. We highly recommend downtown Milford there’s an outdoor farmers market there in the summer on Thursday nights from 3-7pm. The town is known for its little shops, restaurants and a nice downtown walking street! White Lake Oaks Golf Course is a ten minute drive from the house and Chela yoga (owners name is Marlo) is even closer and offers all levels of yoga, as well as floating savansahs (with silks suspended from the ceiling). Marlo will gladly accommodate private groups for classes with prior notice - message us and we can get in touch with her for you if needed.
