There’s no rush here—just fresh air, birdsong, and space to truly unwind. Designed as an intimate retreat for couples, The Nest invites you to slow down, reconnect, and savor the moment. Spend your days exploring nearby trails, swimming at Table Rock Lake, or venturing out to Dogwood Canyon and Silver Dollar City—then return home to soak in your private hot tub beneath glowing bistro lights. Evenings are best spent gathered around the firepit, swinging in the hammock, or cozying up indoors beneath soaring A-Frame ceilings with the fireplace flickering nearby. Located just minutes from Baxter Marina, Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater, and a short scenic drive to Branson, The Nest offers the perfect balance of privacy and proximity. Whether you’re seeking adventure or complete relaxation, this modern A-frame is your peaceful Ozark escape. INSIDE THE NEST Step into a bright, modern living space with soaring A-Frame ceilings and a wall of windows. Relax on the leather sofa, enjoy the glow of the fireplace, or stream your favorite shows on the Smart Roku TV. The full kitchen features granite countertops, stainless appliances, and peninsula seating for two. Downstairs you’ll find a cozy queen bedroom with warm museum lighting. The upstairs loft offers a second queen bed, light-filled views, and a dedicated workspace overlooking the trees. OUTDOOR LIVING Two stairways lead to a wrap-around deck with: • Private hot tub • Outdoor dining • Gas grill • Firepit with Adirondack chairs • Bistro lights for magical evenings Swing in the rope hammock, play giant Jenga or washers, and end the night soaking under the stars. NEARBY ADVENTURES • Baxter Marina – 2 miles • Dogwood Canyon – 15 min • Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater – 5 min • Silver Dollar City – 30 min • Branson attractions & nightlife – 37 min THE PERFECT ESCAPE Quiet, private, and close to everything—The Nest is where unforgettable memories are made. Guest access All roads to The Nest are paved as you travel through the Ozark Mountains, so you’ll enjoy a scenic (and slightly winding) drive. The driveway consists of partial pavement and partial gravel. Guests have full access to the entire cabin, with the exception of the locked storage area beneath the home. Please note there is a stairway from the driveway to the wrap-around deck and front door. The loft is accessed by a ladder (see photos), which may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations. Other things to note PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING LAKE ACCESS & BOAT LAUNCH At the bottom of the hill is a small neighborhood boat launch with very limited parking. Guests often walk or drive down to swim in the lake. Please note that the nearby boat docks are private and not accessible to guests. For full boating access, Baxter Marina is just 2 miles away along Missouri Hwy H. It is a full-service marina offering fuel, pontoon rentals, a small store with snacks, drinks, ice, tackle, and more. A public boat launch is also available at the Missouri Department of Conservation campground next to the marina. HOT TUB GUIDELINES For everyone’s safety and to protect the equipment: • No glass or food near the hot tub • No bubbles, salts, or oils may be added • Please shower before use and wear swimwear (not clothing) Our hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced. If it needs attention during your stay, just let us know. AGE REQUIREMENT All primary guests must be 25 years or older. Children are welcome when staying with their parents. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY The maximum number of guests must not be exceeded. If more people arrive than are listed on the reservation, the reservation will be canceled without a refund. SECURITY CAMERAS For your safety, exterior security cameras monitor the driveway/parking area and front entry only. There are no interior cameras. Tampering with cameras will result in immediate removal from the property. NO SMOKING OR VAPING The Nest is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping property. UNCONTROLLABLE EVENTS We cannot offer refunds for weather, natural disasters, power outages, or other circumstances beyond our control. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. NO PETS We love animals, but pets are not allowed due to severe allergies of some guests and family members. Please make alternate arrangements—there are many pet-friendly cabins nearby. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM Early check-in and late check-out are not usually available. WILDLIFE & NATURE The cabin is on a regular pest-control schedule, but this is a lake and mountain area, so occasional insects or wildlife (bugs, ants, bats, squirrels, frogs, etc.) are normal. If this is a concern, a location farther from the water may be a better fit. You can help by keeping food sealed, floors swept, and trash properly disposed of.
