Hidden gem by Borrowdale Brk (Mid to Long stays)

Unwind at this leafy secure Borrowdale Hills home. The house was lovingly built with red bricks and granite kitchen tops but has been given a makeover to add a more contemporary feel. Relax and enjoy stunning views of the local landscape or grab a glass of wine in the conversation lounge. There is Wi-Fi, solar power and a borehole on-site. Should you choose to venture out the Brook and its amenities are a five min drive away with the rest of Harare on your doorstep. Min stay 2 weeks (flexible). The space The house is a two storey 7 bedroom house with a separately occupied guest wing. There is a caretaker in a separate cabin on-site to assist with minor queries and carry out minor maintenance. All the bedrooms that are in use are double bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a separate lounge and bathroom and there is an additional en-suite bedroom. The conversation lounge has a view of the garden and some board games. The main lounge has a 55 inch smart tv with access to the Netflix, Disney and Showmax apps. A PlayStation 5 is also available for entertainment. There is a separate dining room and large kitchen. Guests are encouraged to use the gas stove at all times. There is an electric stove however due to the power situation in Zimbabwe this is not a 100% available solution. In the event of loadsheddding/power cuts there is solar back up. We encourage our guests to be mindful of the fact that the solar power is limited however if managed correctly should allow for constant electricity availability. Instructions on how to do this will be provided. Outside guests are encouraged to enjoy a view of the outdoors and take advantage of the nature. There is a security guard and a boom gate when entering the estate and guests should feel safe. The valley location of the estate means exposure to nature and beautiful views. Our house is in a surrounded by a forest. It is susceptible to occasional visits by resident local insects. We provide insecticide to help deal with that if required. Guest access As a guest you will have access to the main house. There is currently an office room being converted and a storage room. These will be locked until the conversion is complete. There is a separate guest wing which is not part of a listing and there is a cottage for our caretaker and his wife. The estate is large so you should have plenty of privacy. We only rent out to clients staying for a couple of weeks minimum as this is our holiday home. Other things to note House is perched on a hill so a decent car with a decent engine is required. Borrowdale is currently undergoing a massive regeneration so you may see some WiFi and construction people on the horizon of the hills. Lastly this is a lovely home but is 40 years old so it still has a vintage look. Happy to share more pics and vids should you book :)
