Welcome to Morganton’s “sweet” spot. You have the house to yourself. No one else has access during your stay. Relaxing & spacious, self-contained living space with a jar of sweet treats from our Morganton Christmas, candy, & fudge shop (Merrill Mischief). 1100 square feet of living space with original artwork, conveniently located off Interstate 40. Trees & flowers surround the house. Minutes from downtown Morganton, hospitals, & attractions. Pet fee $75 (ONE small dog under 15 lb). No smoking The space The house is a two story contemporary with a long driveway and plenty of parking. The first floor entry/ living room has a lovely sitting area around a large stone fireplace. The stone floors and accents are all created with stones from the builder’s family quarry. The bedroom suite is on the first floor. Large living area brightly decorated with original artwork and favorite prints opens to the bedroom. Queen memory foam bed with premier linens. The bathroom is spacious with a jetted, soaking tub and stall shower. Upstairs there is a small sitting area surrounded by windows looking out over the lawn and partial mountain views. It is the perfect spot to catch-up on emails, read, or do a little bird watching. Off the upstairs sitting area is a small covered deck. My favorite coffee spot! There is a coffee/breakfast bar in the bedroom suite. Larger mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee machine with plenty of prep room. We provide coffee, water, and snacks along with a candy jar full of treats from our Morganton candy, Christmas, and Fudge shop, Merrill Mischief. There is not a full kitchen. We do not make the kitchen and upstairs bedroom available because we prefer hosting couples and not larger groups. We stay in a separate studio apartment on the property and are available by text if our guests need anything. One small dog (less than 20 lbs) is welcome for an additional pet fee. Guest access You have the entire house, driveway, and side yard to yourselves. Private entry and plenty of parking. There is no kitchen access.
