Cozy worker apartment in the middle of a cultural landscape

A cozy and peaceful two-room apartment in the upper mill of Fiskars. The apartment is located in the historic Kulla workers' houses, which were built in 1859 as apartments for the workers of the rolling mill. Red clay log houses form an idyllic courtyard where you live in the middle of a historical cultural landscape surrounded by field landscapes and deer. The space You live in two cozy rooms on the second floor of this old house. The entrance is shared with the apartment owners. The stairs go up directly from the front porch. The rooms are immediately to the right after the stairs. The rooms have their own toilet. If you'd like to take a shower, you can use the shared downstairs. Both rooms have a 180 cm wide double bed. The apartment has a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, a kettle and a microwave. A refrigerator, which also has a freezer, can be found in the hallway. There is also a crib and a high chair. An extra mattress on the floor can be arranged if needed. There is a safety gate on the stairs. The wood-burning ovens in the rooms are not available. Guest access Downstairs, there is a bathroom for the hosts, which is available to guests. The garden at the end of the house and the terrace there are shared with the hosts of the house. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the field. Our house is 300 meters from the public swimming pier of Lake Degersjön. Ruukkila residents go there for a morning swim in their bathing suits. In winter, the pier has the opportunity for winter swimming. The ice hole next to the dock is usually open throughout the winter.
