Luxury Escape to the Country

Situated in the grounds of our property on Bringsty Common, the detached annex nicknamed “Holly Barn” is separated from our cottage by a shared parking area. The property has 2 sumptuous bedrooms. The master is a double, the second bedroom can either be configured as a twin with two single beds or as a super-king bed. Children will love meeting the animals on our small holding & playing in the generous garden (which is shared with our children). Minimum 3 night stay, unless filling a 2 night gap The space Oak beams, wooden floors and a huge roll top bath will steal your heart, whilst state of the art underfloor air-source heating, and a deep memory foam mattress are sure to make your stay as comfortable as it is luxurious. The master double bedroom is spacious, with an ensuite W/C. There is also an equally generous-sized second bedroom that can accommodate two twin beds or be converted into a Super-king bed. The master bathroom, tiled in travertine, features a bath as well as a generous waterfall shower with seat. We provide Molton Brown products to pamper yourselves with during your stay. The second bedroom has a zip link mattress so can be arranged with either a super king bed, or two single beds. The main living area is an airy vaulted, open plan, kitchen/dinning/living space with a floor to ceiling glass gable end, incorporating bifold doors that open up onto a patio area with hot tub, ideal for alfresco dining. Enjoy cooking on the Smeg induction range, or a coffee from the Dualit espresso machine. We provide the essentials to get you settled in, including tea, coffee (grounds for the machine, and instant) sugar and fresh milk in the fridge. Lay-z-Spa Hot tub available upon request, for additional charge. Guest access Secure parking space for up to two cars. The key safe code will be sent to guests the day before arrival. We love having furry guests, who I’m sure will enjoy exploring the half acre of securely fenced garden. There is an outdoor tap with a hot water mixer hose for cleaning off muddy paws after walks. For the future comfort of all our guests, we ask that dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings or beds, or that you bring a blanket with you to cover them. Other things to note Visitors have access to a patio with dinning table and chairs, and can access the garden via a ramp. The property is located on a small holding where we keep chickens, ducks, a goose, some pigmy goats and micro pigs, so we would appreciate it if guests would keep a close eye on furry visitors to prevent them scaring our pets, and clear up any waste immediately. Children are welcome to play in the shared garden and use the swings, slides and trampoline. The garden and play equipment is shared with our children, and it is your responsibility to monitor your children. We cannot be held responsible for accidents. As the property sits in the heart of Bringsty Common, furry guests and their humans are just a few steps away from 220 acres of public walkways through woodland and heath. Lay-Z-Spa Hot Tub, which is located on your patio is available upon request, for additional charge. Please note that young children should not use spa pools, and that all children must be closely supervised at all times by an adult whilst in the pool. The spa has a secure cover to prevent children accessing the pool without an adult. Damage to the spa or play equipment caused by mistreatment will be charged to the guests. The spa can be cooled and used as a refreshing plunge pool in hot weather.
