This stay is perfect for travelers that want a home-away-from-home experience. Make home-cooked meals in our fully stocked kitchen. There is a guitar, piano and bongo drum for the musically inclined. Enjoy two bedrooms, each with a comfy king bed and fast WIFI. Coffee is provided, as well as tea for the mellower souls. Can't wait to host you! The space -This doublewide mobile home is located on the quiet outskirts of Hollister -Large living room area w/ A/C unit, large dining table, piano, guitar, bongo, board games, and smart TV -Two bedrooms w/ drawers, shelves, night stands, lamps, floor fans and space heaters -Two California king beds, two full-sized sofa beds(the bedding is in the armoire of the 2nd bedroom) -Full kitchen w/ electric stove, fridge, freezer, pots, pans, cooking utensils, dining sets, basic spices, cooking oil, sink w/ dish drying rack, and a pantry under the counter -Coffee bar with coffee, tea, gooseneck kettle, French press, and wine glasses - Brita filter is in the fridge for fresh drinking water. Drinking filtered water is recommended. -Single bathroom w/ shower and towel cupboard -Zero-gravity chair -There is no washer and dryer, but a laundromat is 5min down the road -Important things to note: The water tank is small, so hot water for the showers lasts roughly 30min before having to reheat. It gets cold in the winter and hot in the summer, so we have provided space heaters, fans, and a portable A/C unit to help regulate the temperature. We provide tips that we have learned over time from living in this home in our house manual to maximize comfort during your visit. Guest access This double-wide is located on a private road with two small neighboring houses. You can see in the photos that the home is off the main road a ways, so keep an eye out for the turn when your GPS says you're close. You have 2 parking spots available to you. Park directly in front of the unit, in between the deck and the hedge so you are parallel with the unit you are staying in. (there is a green sign on the steps that says "guest parking" - park by the guest parking sign) DO NOT park to the left of the unit at all. Do not block the driveway that leads to the house on the left of the unit or park anywhere near the seating area/shed to the left of the unit. Feel free to roam about the porch, designated parking area, and courtyard within the hedge area. You do have neighbors to the left side behind the unit. Please respect them and stay out of that space. Other things to note Our home is on the outskirts of town in the country, so although we regularly have the premises treated for pests and have an audio animal deterrent plugged in at the house, you may find the occasional insect or animals that are expected in the country such as foxes, bunnies, deer, etc. The home is near a major road, so noise is elevated during traffic hours. When too many appliances are running(the biggest culprits are the microwave and space heaters), the breaker can trip. If that happens, you can reset it with the breaker box in the bathroom. We have also marked outlets that will not trip the breaker when all heaters are running. The water heater is small, good for about a 15 min shower. Once you book, you will have access to our house manual through Airbnb that will provide tips on how to use appliances to maximize the hot water run-time. Being out here also makes for good stargazing on a clear night! Bring a telescope or take a long exposure shot of the starry sky.
