Plant Based Studio is located on Grand Cayman is just a stone's throw away from the beautiful 7 Mile Beach. This private hideaway has its own private entrance and lush botanical courtyard, it is the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. Located along the 7 mile corridor, it is near all restaurants and shopping. Convenient for work, play or whatever suits you. This charming retreat perfectly blends nostalgia with modern comfort. With a cozy murphy bed, pull out sofa bed for our younger guests, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a full bathroom, it offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The private courtyard is a serene oasis to relax and unwind, with multiple seating areas, ambient lighting at night, and an outdoor shower, ideal for those hot days or returning from the beach. Blackout blinds ensure a restful night's sleep, and reliable Wi-Fi keeps you connected. The space exudes the essence of the Cayman Islands with its nostalgic touches, with modern amenities. Staying at La Casita Verde, you will have your own private parking space, entrance, and courtyard. While there are two entry ways to your accommodation, the French doors at the rear of the guest house should remain locked as this accesses our private patio and entertainment area. Likewise the gate at the back of your courtyard will be locked from our side. As we live on site, someone is here most times, and we are happy to help with whatever you may need. You can give us a call, send us a text, email or simply knock on our door. Our neighborhood is called "The Highlands", ironic we know for an island with an average elevation just above sea level. It is a quiet residential neighborhood with lots of families and young children. There is no through traffic, which ensures that it's quiet most days. We are conveniently located on the north end of West Bay Road, or the "Seven Mile Beach Corridor", with quick access to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, beaches and the world-famous Turtle Centre. The capital of George Town is a quick 10 minute drive, and you will want to rent a car during your stay, Cayman (if you have not been previously) can be very hot especially during the summer, and while you are within walking distance of a few amenities, a car is best suited for further exploration of the island. Transportation options on the island are rental cars, which you can get at the airport on arrival. If you do not drive, there are also taxis, public buses and "Flex" (similar to Lyft or Uber). There are also other locations on island which you can rent bicycles. We are happy to give you suggestions on any of the above. We do live on site, along with our two children and two dogs. We ask that noise be kept to a minimum between the hours of 8pm and 6am, and we will do our best to ensure the same from our side. We have landscapers that come twice a month on Wednesdays, most times they are in and out within 1.5 hours.
