The guesthouse is centrally located in a pottery making Village within 10 minutes from Kampong Chhnang city. Guests have the opportunity to mix with the local Khmers who will welcome them warmly. A walking tour showcases the wonderful pottery these people create in their front yards. The guesthouse provides pottery classes and tours to well known tourist attractions such as the Bamboo Village, the Floating Village, the wood carvers of Persat and of course Siem Reap, home of Angkor Wat. . The space Village stays are rare in Cambodia. As you are in the centre of a village at the foot of a mountain, you have plenty of walking opportunities. At the end of the street is the Buddhist Pagoda, the cultural centre of the village. People welcome you as you freely walk around the village watching potters at work or partaking in the many foods from little shops along the roads. Guest access The Kanchos or thatched bamboo shelters at the back of the property are ideal for picnics or even backpacker accommodation. Equipped with a light, ceiling fan, low table and mosquito netted hammocks, they're an ideal place to snooze during the siesta time during the heat of the day. On the roof of the guesthouse is the Sky Bar open to guests until late at night. Saturday night is Karaoke Night. Alcoholic drinks are very cheap and the Skybar is well equipped with your favourite tipple. The restaurant is open at designated times. Each room has a list and menu. Both western and Asian meals are available. Early meal bookings are required. One breakfast is included in each daily booking and guests can opt to eat a Khmer breakfast at the Village Chief's lean-to a hundred metres up the road for less than a dollar.
