The space The two-story villa has five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and independently controlled heating and cooling. The property sits inside an expansive garden of eucalyptus, pine, citrus and olive trees, where you’ll enjoy use of a fully-equipped BBQ, a small outdoor dipping pool and outdoor shower, as well as several outdoor sitting areas across the garden that are perfect to unwind under the shade. Long dinners, slow evenings, and time together come naturally here. The original house in the property is dated back to the 1800s, but it was completely destroyed during the 1928 earthquake. The current house was built in its place in 1932, designed by the renowned mid-war architect Vasilis Tsagris (great uncle to the current owner). It was fully renovated in 2023, with respect to the original design but reconstructed to fit the modern way of life. The furniture found in the common areas, also designed by V. Tsagris, complement the character of the house bridging the old with the new. The heritage of the house as well as the family (owners of the property since the 1800s) is also preserved and highlighted through the many decorative elements, memorabilia, family books and archives, while the photographs of I. Apostolidis that decorate the bedrooms provide an added artistic touch to the space.
