Stone House Get Away

Unwind in the cute little stone cottage as you get away from the grind. Built in the 1930s the house has been updated over last 5 years with kitchen counters, appliances, bathrooms, and has central ac/heat and room ac upstairs. Located 2 miles from Miami University/Oxford you are close to the action but can also get away as needed. Directly across the road is Miami's wilderness preserve and trail system. Also, within a 15-30 minute drive to Hueston Woods, Hamilton, and Middletown. NO Pets The space While this space has been updated over the last several years it was originally built in the 1940s. The bedrooms are up a narrow stairway and there are stairs to get into the house. So unfortunately it is not recommended for the handicapped. Also, we do treat for pests but it is located next to Miami’s natural areas and in a wooded area so there are times when lady bugs or “sting bugs” find their way inside. These are harmless but if you may find them alarming this might not be the place for you. We want you to enjoy the experience of being away from the excitement of Oxford, while just being a 3-5 minute drive away from the actives you need :) Guest access Entire house.
