Living in the "Snickerbo" - like Astrid Lindgren

Our house "Snickebo" (old carpenter's workshop of the farm) is located in a secluded location with a fenced garden (secluded) in the middle of Småland. After the renovation in March 2024, the house can also be inhabited all year round. The lake is a 5-minute walk, a bike path runs approx. 100 meters from the house. Dogs are welcome, the property of the Snickebo is fenced. There is an extra playhouse for children, which is equipped with toys. Address: Elmehult 7, Urshult The space The accommodation is designed for 4 people. One bedroom is a passage room with 2 single beds, the other room is furnished with a double bed. The stairs are secured with a child gate. There is a large standing refrigerator and a freezer. There is also a stove with 4 hotplates and a self-contained oven. On the same property across the street, we have set up a playhouse (not a tree house, but a "real" house) in which games, a Brio train, books and much more are available for children - so it is not boring for the offspring even on days with rain. Other things to note The house got new windows, a new front door and a heat pump in March 2024 and is now also habitable all year round. We also rent out all winter long. On request, there are 2 canoes on the shore of the Åsnen. The canoe racks are within walking distance of approx. 8 minutes from the house. A swimming spot, which is, however, a bit silty and very "close to nature," can be reached on foot in 4 minutes. A beach for children is about 7 km away in Urshult. Please note: In the period from 09/01 to 04/30, we charge electricity costs of SEK 3 per kWh.
